Thigh High Boots

Ok, I realize that this is the fashion, but come on. You LITERALLY look like a prostitute whore *flips table* haha I hope you all get where that is from. But back to my rant -

Thigh high boots just make you look cheap. I don't care that they are Christian Louboutin and cost over $2,000. That just means you work a lot at night and are probably too expensive for most boys that I know.

When worn with leggings as pants (see my post below), it's even worse. It's certainly not work appropriate, unless you work at American Apparel, but they like that trash look.

This morning, in the elevator, there was a girl going to work in a very professional office. You know what she was wearing? A blazer, leggings as pants (with a perfect butt) and thigh high 5 inch boots. Immediately I lost any respect for her I would have had, and just thought she looked gross. Once again, maybe with jeans it would be better, but my mind still thinks of Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman.

Knee high boots are better. They are classy and classic. Thigh high is a trend I hope dies soon, because it is not flattering, whatsoever.

Leggings as Pants

Leggings are not pants. Period.

They look find if you are wearing them underneath something, like a dress or a skirt that is too short, or a tunic. BUT, if we can see your, er...butt, then we hate you, are laughing at you behind your back for your poor fashion sense, and you are dressing like a fool.

It doesn't matter how great your body is, you look like a prostitute.

Places where "leggings" aka "spandex pants" are acceptable (to wear as a pant): the gym. That's it ladies. The gym.

So please, do us a favor. The next time you want to wear leggings as pants (which means having your camel toe out for the world to see...i'm talking to you Olivia Wilde) do us a favor, and wear skinny denim jeans or a longer top.

Thank you.
